NIPPON TOKKEN was established as a manufacturer of silk belts in 1941. After a number of changes, we has consolidated our present position, starting as a manufacturer of cotton belts for rice polishing and developing further to a manufacturer of belts for industrial materials. We has constantly endeavored to provide the products that keep track of the information and needs of the customers, the time and the market. To meet these needs, we positively introduce information from Europe with a long history of the canvas technology and from the U.S.A.
with the advanced technology. On the other hand, our established products have been exported worldwide not only to the fastest-growing China and Southeast Asia countries but also to the Middle and Near East, and Europe and America. TOKKEN will continue to contribute to our customerﾕs manufacturing operations by endeavoring the research of new materials and the development of technology.

1941

Predecessor of NIPPON TOKKEN was founded by the former President Sojiro Nakamura to manufacture silk base belts, pertinent to his business of silk merchant.

1945

Incorporation of NIPPON TOKKEN KOGYO CO., LTD. Established Head Office/Sales Office at 3-3 Ginza Nishi 8-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Election of Sojiro Nakamura to President.

1953

Head Office/Sales Office moved to 1-15
Fukagawafukusumi-cho, Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

1963

Head Office/Sales Office moved to 5-36 Hon-cho, Kazo, Saitama, Japan.

1970

Reelection of Directors. Election of Takeo Nakamura to President.

1990

Head Office/Sales Office moved to 6-20 Minami-cho, Kazo, Saitama, Japan.

1996

Capital increased to ¥ 1,000 million.

2010

Election of officers. Takeo Nakamura appointed Chairman of the President, became President Takuo Nakamura.
